Dr Tanya Botha
Osteopathic Association of South Africa
Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa
Board of Healthcare Funders
Tanya qualified in the UK as an osteopath in 2006 from the London School of Osteopathy and then
did a Masters in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London.
Training at the OCC is a unique experience as the centre is run as a charity and is therefore
accessible to many mothers and children unable to normally afford such treatment. The OCC is a
busy clinic where 80 patients a day get treatment. A fantastic place for osteopaths to learn about
paediatrics and to treat all sorts of problems.
Since returning to South Africa in 2010, Tanya has been practising in Claremont. She is now at
Back2Health in Claremont, and has also joined Birth Options in Plumstead two days a
week, where she will be available to treat adults, babies, children, pregnant and postpartum mums.
Tanya is thrilled to be working alongside Birth Option’s team of midwives.
Please visit Tanya’s website on www.claremont-osteopathy.co.za for more information on osteopathy.

Osteopathic treatments are covered by most medical aids in South Africa.
